To me, Thanksgiving conjures memories of family getting together and catching up. It might be somewhat of a reach, but I feel like Thanksgiving started in September this year. In our equipment finance space, it has been a long time since “the whole family” was together in person!
Our industry family reunion started with ELFA’s co-located Ops & Tech and Lease Accounting conferences in New Orleans. After a two-year hiatus, it did feel like a homecoming of sorts!
A month later we met for the ELFA 61st Annual Convention in Orlando (relocated from Marco Island due to the devastation wrought by Hurricane Ian). And then after two short weeks, we gathered again in Nashville for NEFA’s Funding Symposium. OK – I might have consumed a little too much “EF Tryptophan,” but it was great to get back together and see all our friends and colleagues in person. I sincerely hope you are also experiencing a similar “homecoming.”
With the real Thanksgiving holiday upon us, I would like to extend my gratitude for all who have been there to support Tamarack over the last 20+ years. Without your partnership, we wouldn’t be here.
Keeping with the theme of gratitude, a core value for Tamarack is giving back to our community. I am happy to announce that Tamarack is supporting the nonprofit Flannel River. This past summer, I was introduced to the team at FlannelRiver.org and their mission of “nurturing, supporting and improving accessibility to nature, all whilst giving back and paying respect to our land and community in consciously minded ways.”
The partnership is a perfect fit for Tamarack, as Flannel River echoes our beliefs of stewardship in both work and life.
Enjoy the time with family and friends!
Happy Thanksgiving,
– Daniel Nelson, CEO, Tamarack
